Fast loading website is something both users and web crawlers (Google, Yahoo and others) like very much.

There is number of ways to limit the time it takes to load you web page, but one of the most fundamental one is to limit the amount of data transmitted between web server and client browser.

Below we will show how to optimize your PNG graphics, so they are as small as possible, and load faster.

We tried few different tools (for example pngcrush) but after our internal tests, it seems optiPNG is the most efficient one.

To shrink your PNG files, download optiPNG, next go to the directory with your images and run the following command:

optipng -o 5 *.png

That is all. Now all your PNG images are optimized.
